Danielle Abraham has dedicated her career to harnessing Israeli innovation and expertise for global good. A leading advocate for applying Israeli agricultural technology to address global food insecurity, she is recognized worldwide for her thought leadership and impact. Danielle has represented Israel on prestigious stages including Harvard University, the World Food Prize, and the Milken Conference.
Danielle began her career as a senior policy advisor at MASHAV—Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation—where she represented Israel at the UN, OECD, and German Development Bank. She later co-chaired the annual ID2 Conference, helping shape Israel’s impact investment and international development ecosystem.
Since assuming leadership of Volcani International Partnerships (VIP) in 2017, Danielle has transformed it into Israel’s leading nonprofit leveraging agricultural innovation for national and global benefit. In the aftermath of October 7th, she spearheaded Project ReGrow Israel, which since its launch has raised $35 million to support affected farmers and rebuild the farming communities devastated by the attacks in southern and Northern Israel.
Named one of The Marker’s “40 Under 40 Promising Israeli Leaders” (2025), Danielle is a Schusterman Fellow, founding member of MENA2050, board member of ELNET, and serves on President Isaac Herzog’s Voice of the People Council.
Danielle holds a B.A. and M.A. from the University of Oxford and lives in Tel Aviv with her family. Her work continues to bridge Israeli ingenuity with global impact—strengthening communities, fostering resilience, and building a better future for all.
